BACKGROUND

Our service opened in March 1990, we provide low cost childcare to allow parents to go to work/college.  During this period it has established itself as an integrated service for the community,  Staffing levels have increased and we have provided employment and training to the community.  The quality of the service is monitored to ensure that our provision is of a high standard and continues to meet the needs of the community. We are in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council, we are a charitable organisation and therefore non profit making, and we are registered with the Voluntary Sector. We have a Board of Directors with Esther Bradley responsible for the overall running of our service as the Head of Centre.  Our service aims to work in partnership to provide a flexible, caring, welcoming and stimulating environment, which support and values each individual and promotes active learning to be inclusive of each individuals needs.  We aspire to promote personal development and inspire all members of our community to develop their skills and talents and to achieve as successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors in a safe.
